The bear came back last night.  Chased it away again.  Guess the poor birds don't get any more food.  And if the bear keeps showing up, I guess he'll be getting maced.

I went out to put some food out for the creatures at 10:30 last night.  I opened the door, cruised out onto the porch and looked up.  10 feet away at the bird feeders there was a black bear.  I just froze.  He jumped a little and then took off for some bushes in the yard.

There is now a Sharp Shinned Hawk actually catching birds at the feeder.  And the squirrel wants some of what it's having for dinner.

There is a Cooper's Hawk terrorizing the birds at the feeder.
